There are some areas of the USA that take your breath away in the fall. Love to see photos of the changes in seasons.

Beautiful Autumn colours and Autumn tones throughout the image. Nice DoF, although maybe a tighter crop may have worked better for you? At least you get the whole gamut of colours down there. I have to go up into the Blue mountains to get any decent colours, and by the time I realise the trees are turning down here in Sydney, they have already finished up in the mountains....lol ( A bit slow sometimes :-) )

Thanks Kim, appreciate your feedback. Yes we are similar to get any reasonable photos I need to go into Adelaide hills and have timed it wrong a few times. :) Mary

Nice picture. Great composition and color. I'm pretty sure you are going to get criticism (if you haven't already ) from the pixel counters about the branches which cross the leaves. To me they just make the picture look natural. Cheers.

Decided to view this one as my last for the day. But it does not draw my attention as any special artistic presentation in comparison to some really creative work I've visited today.

Thanks for your feedback - yes there are some very artisitic presentations on FAR most of which have been manipulated in post production which I rarely undertake. The majority of mine are straight out of camera and only cropped or contrast adjusted at most.

No pain or hurt feelings just feel as though manipulated photos are taking over and people forget natural beauty. prefer honest reviews and rating to false appreciation

I like the way the leaf was shot from behind which might explain the great warm tones you achieved. I like the composition and the way the subject stands out against the soft background.
