An unusual idea, which is intriguing and may makes people take a second and closer look at nature. The limitation of colors is interesting. The pink is excellently placed and integrated into the monochrome. The two pink spots aligned diagonal with the magnifying glass and contradicted by the butterflies warrant a good balance.

The Rice Paper Butterflies are a nice addition that compliment nicely. Very creative touch using the magnifying glass which adds dimension in addition to the close up view. Color and contrast ate good. The light rays in the b/g add an illusion or accent to the flower

I could empty the stars on all of your wickedly creative work.
The skies would be void of light.
Cara, this is clever and oh so loverly. Your layering work is
Impressive. I love the butterflies, zoom effect and the magnified look you created!
Woman! I ran out of socks!!!

A well conceived and beautifully executed presentation. I like the tonality as well as the starburst effect and of course the butterflies.

As someone who had to use magnifying glasses for many years in the past, I find this concept fascinating and very well done. I how the perspective of the whole piece is perfectly done so that the magnified part looks in sync with its non-magnified counterparts. Perfect to get the reflection on the magnifier frame too. The soft color palette is also an excellent choice here and gives it a very classy look. Well done and a successful experiment.

I can almost tell when its your work now - it has a special feel about it ... like most artist they find a niche and go with it as their signature ... and you got that going on .. nice work thanks so much for sharing

Now isn't this unique? Nice technique you have used here. I like it and bet it would look good with a bug under the glass. Good coloring and focus that shows details and textures. Butterflies help balance out the image. Nicely positioned and framed. Great Initial impact.
