So many forests are being raped of their vegitation of all sorts Fred, it's such a shame and although some do plant seedlings after wards it takes many years to get them of mature size. This is a great capture of the the tall pines in their finery. A lovely POV with sharp focus, exposure and framing:)

Nice keystone effect from tilting this wide angle upward to include the treetops. Very nice colors and great composition

Great notes of artist. Love the stateliness of the forest, nice perspective and the intense color, like excellent textures and nice DOF. Well done

Beautiful capture for a different angle lover as the trees so they seem to grow together into the sky

Fantastic distance , super frame , your colors are genuine with the perfect saturation , this is a man made forest with only one species and always has a stunning effect for me s it is a forest and at the same time it is not - super focus, great exposure , perfect in contrast and lighting , well done

Much the same all over the world as we cut down these magnificent forests for profit. Nice shot of these tall pines and at least there are a few of them left to enjoy. Good photo and thanks for sharing the info about them. Hopefully they are protected now.

A good angle and sky to show perspective on these tall pines. Thanks for the informative narrative. They look a lot like the lodge pole pines of our higher elevations here western USA. Nice sharp focus and a sunny day.

These trees are lovely, like how they are tall, slim, and all growing as one. Have to say that you put a lot of effort in your notes so we understand.
