Beautifully done. The text at this magnification and font seems a bit unclear. Perhaps a very small stroke might make it clearer, then it could also bee my old eyes! :-) Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

To be quite honest, to reduce the rating over the fact that the image has text is a bit off in this case. That is what the the whole contest was about. To write down a scripture and use a background which would fit in. Had I posted this photo without the scripture, it would have been disqualified.

Sorry about that, (nothing personal) I'm not familiar with the contest rules.? it just didn't appeal to me as a review item & I think thats why they are using this flawed point system, I too have received many lower then 5s and I found out that it does no good to complain if somebody does not like what I've posted - it is what it is.

I never complain either, but in this case your reason for deducting points were not valid since this is what the contest asked about. I never mind getting constructive criticism, but I think when you review an entry for a contest, you should try to find out if the entry is presented according to the rules.

Sorry again, I didn't & don't care about the contest or its rules (I'm not voting there) - For you to say my opinions are not valid, would make you my ruler instead of GOD.

The truth is, i reviewed this for the self promotional points, because I am not your judge. I leave that up to the so called experts & GOD.

So if you win the contest, you should be happy enough, then to keep badgering me.

I gave you an honest compliments where it was called for and if that's not good enough for you, Then all I can say o you, is have a good day. I can not nor will I change my opinion because you or some man made god says I should.

Finally, If I gave you a one, you are suppose to say "thank you" -and that's also in the rules.

I know that you are supposed to say just thank you, and that is also what I usually do, even if I get a low rating. The only reason I opened for a discussion in this case, was that I personally take very much into consideration the rules of a contest when I review myself.

Nobody are experts here on FAR, and I don't think God has anything to do with judging photos either.

Believe it or not, but I appreciate that you answered me back, and our little discussion. I think we just have to agree to disagree.

Wish I had more. This is stunning work and the original shot is crisp and focus is stunning. The stamens are loaded with pollen to make me sneeze. The post production work is also stunning. The reflections and the bursts are elegant. The verse is so fitting and the lavender background is lovely.
