Hey, where's the detail? (just kidding). Of course we get it with the pops of emotion your images send out...no need to show us the writing on his star...we get it, honest.

Clearly laid out, the hint of new sheriff is there but he needs a cowboy hat...no?...or do sheriffs wear all kinds of hats nowadays!

I think those two in the background are sweet on him, either that or they are drunk.

Great sense of humor. Lots of gossiping in the saloon, especially in small towns. Very defined details. I like the wooded door and the floor. Patterns are great. Absolutely, painted with expertise.

Can't imagine why they would want to see more detail. You draw just enough for the viewer to get the message and use their imagination. I must say that your detail on this is amazing. Markers are not an easy medium to control unless you have mastered it - and you certainly have. Great job!

Really? Not enough detail in a cartoon, that's wired. I always thought cartoon in modern days is an art form where characters and background are stylish. Now someone will come and say there is too much background detail, because some cartoons have none.

so true..my response was surely u wouldnt question the dagwood or peanuts or doonesbury and say oh u dont have enough detail in the background. a good cartoon much rely on initial impact,. if the viewer cannot tell and understand the image they r viewing the second they look at it then the artist failed on his expression in the work..ive been there i know..wink..thanks for the great review
