This is a great shot of an amazing church. These churches carry so much history and so much ornate work. I like the angle you chose and being able to see most of the church. Thanks for sharing and giving a story about it

A little overdone for my stile of worship! ha I'd be staring at the building and not paying any attention to the Priest or pastor even if I could understand the language. It's a beautiful church but I'm always amazed at the amount of money some churches put into their buildings when there are so many of their people in need. Wonder if Christ would approve. Anyway a nice photo of a museum church. it is beautiful!

You really do know your history!! even if I were told all of this I couldn't remember. The details, lighting inside and all the colors look just great. The intricate designs are breathe taking and it's amazing how us humans can design something so perfect yet we are all so screwed up in life!!!

Gorgeous! This shot is so beautiful. I can't imagine what the rest of the church looks like. Excellent clarity, lighting and the detail is amazing. Love the shine of the lights that cast such a glow. Worthy of a 10, but I don't even have a 6. Simply beautiful!

Excellent photo of the inside of the church. Well captured stained glass windows, great look at the altar. Good capture of the inside lights. Surprised you could take pictures inside the church, I tried that in South America but it was not allowed.

There were signs posted in the churches in S>A> No Picture taken allowed. When I visit Europe this fall, I hope I can some photos there.

A wonderful view of the interior of this most beautiful Basilica with the highly decorated & gilded High Altar, columns their capitals & the ceiling with the light coming down from the windows in the Dome. Artistic composition beautiful lighting, superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus.

This is one of those shots were perfect symmetry works so well. The center aisle draws the eye to the finery in the sanctuary.
This basilica would be a photographers dream... lots to explore behind the lens.
