Well this is different and refreshing, I first was a little unsure, so I sat and looked straight at that eye, the more I looked the more I saw, you have captured in this painting part of the dogs soul in that eye, it has so grown on me. love it. dave :)

The detail that surrounds the eye is very detailed and beautiful. The eye seems a bit off for some reason to me. A bit too round and the light brown is not usual for a dog's eye. Most pictures that I have seen of dogs and just looking at dogs in general, don't look like this. They are darker and the darkness makes they eye look almost sad or perhaps loving. This is just my opinion. I am sure others will see it quite differently.

Thank you for your review. There are different shapes and colours of dogs' eyes, as I'm sure you know, and this is just one of them.

You have done an excellent

the small amount of blue you have added above the eye and a dab underneath as it really
