I like the close and personal approach because it is showing off the bright and shiny eyes of this dog so well. Because of the nicely blurred background, the dog is standing out from it in a very good way.

Your photo is nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the dog's head, and I also think the exposure is fine.

I think the dog has got a good placement within the frame, and it is also fun to see the reflection of the photographer in the dog's eyes. Well taken photo and with a good DOF.

Oh goodness I recognize this face! If I am right this is a rat feist? I have a little female named Mojo...they have such loving eyes and it comes through in this photo. Great color and such a nice shot. Will have to share my little lady.

Thanks, James. I still want that criticsm. I wanted a shallow depth of focus for this, to bring out the facial expression and details of the face. This is a stranger dog, over friendly and longed to be cuddled. I will be happy for any thoughts of improvement, if my aperture and ISO, were wrong. Thanks again.

I'm sorry I was just trying to be humorous. I guess I failed. If I don't mention something then it's not wrong in my opinion. I have no idea where your ISO or aperture was set. Hard to comment on that. I'm sorry my review was not adequate. I'll try to do better in the future.

Sometimes, I don't put my setting, because of lack of time, and I guess that's Optional. My life as a Stock Trader is too busy to do that. lol.
