I am not so sure I would by a post card picturing the local hospital, but the field of yellow flowers is for sure an eye catcher. I also think I would have tried to clone out the stop sign, even if I am sure it belongs there. Still if the City of Owens are satisfied with the result, then it doesn't really matter what I say. LOL
The photo is nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details both in the field of flowers and the buildings. The exposure is perfect and it is truly lovely with all the yellow flowers against the blue sky.
I also think the cropping has worked well and it is nice that the whole building structure is included in the photo. It is a well taken photo Willie, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so very much! I have been working with the museum and the city to get postcards made of things of interest in the city. This is just one of many I submitted for them to choose from.

Good Morning
Good Composition and great strong colors. Just me but I think there is perhaps just a little more sky than is needed.
I would reduce the size of the sky there by bring in the hospital and the size of the flower field. Just a thought.

This is a lovely photograph. I like the use of complementary colors. I do think there is too much negative space above the hospital. Cropping it slightly would give more impact to both the well-focused hospital and spectacular flowers! Good DOF.
