My first impression was that the flower in the negative space override the dragon fly, to me that aspect dominates the image.
The dragonfly really needs to be on one of the intersecting line of the rule of thirds, to make this a more dramatic image and make him the start of the composition.

I think for me I would crop the image so that was the case and then the great pose of him would become the image.

very cute title. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the dragonfly on the twig is great. love the blurred image of the lily and pad in the back ground. very cool. the capture is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
