Looks like springtime has arrived in Australia! Neat shot of this bee enjoying the tiny purple blooms of this flower. Kind of looks like a butterfly bush blooming. So they have "mental health days" down your way as well. haha A fine photo Mary and thanks for sharing it.

A nice colourful image with the added attraction of the bee feeding. The DOF seems a bit shallow causing part of the flower to be out of focus maybe another f/stop higher would have worked. Over all well framed and balanced.

Thanks David my daughter challenged me to use my 50mm prime lens and I still haven't worked out why sometimes it focuses other times just won't more practice and reading to see what I am doing wrong 😀

The composition of this photo is great with the bee positioned in the upper third, however both the bee and flowers are a bit soft on the focus. Lovely DOF blurring of background. Over all nice photo.
