This is where it all began with the Shepherds and the North star. The young Shepherd is pointing towards that star even though we do not see it. We see the highlight of the light behind them.
Your details and realism with this medium are outstanding.

Your drawing is impressive. Although, we do not see it in the picture, we know that the star is there, quite near the shepherds. The boy points at the star, and the holy light creates aureoles around the boy and the older shepherd. Your creation is expertly done and rendered. The drawing is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
