Wow! You captured these birds perfectly. I love how you got them in mid-air like that and that the clarity is so perfect. Your framing is well done as well. I like how they are both plunging downwards. Well done and thanks for sharing :)

Great dramatic image, the color in the sky is very soothing and balanced, harmonizing well with the warm color in the birds. The angle used here shows a lot of the birds' forms. The amount of light in the sky and on the birds is just right.

a great stop action lori; not easy to catch, therefore I keep a 5* despite a tad soft focus and a less than optimal framing;

I know the difficulties of getting one bird in flight, two is harder. It looks like you shot this in an auto setting like sport. In bird photography that is not fast enough.
You need to be able to control shutter speed and ISO along with f/stop.
Shutter speed needs to be 1/2500sec with and F/stop of f/5.6
You managed to get nice enough stop action on both birds, but focus is soft and eye clarity is off. No matter what the bird is doing, you must lock on to the eye.
My review is one to help and not be critical.
The bird on the bottom needs more space.
I applaud your efforts, but bird photography is not easy when using manual settings and it is harder when using auto.
When you shoot manually you are in control and the camera does not have to guesstimate.
Nice shot but camera techs need to be worked on to get a sharper image.

Nicely captured Lili. Great detail on the wings. Colors is very nice. I like the clouds in the background, darker and softer to bring the eye directly to the birds. Well done! ~Carmen

You were very lucky to be able to capture two birds in flight like this, and I especially like the red chests of the birds in contrast to the almost grey sky. The birds are standing out really well against it.

Your focus is however too soft and the dark parts of the birds under exposed and with loss of details. This is especially true for the bird at the top. I do of course appreciate how difficult it is to take a shot like this, and the stop action is actually quite good.

When it comes to the composition I think the bird at the bottom left is too close to the frame. It would have been so much better with more negative space in from of the birds instead of behind. It is a fine shot, but especially the lack of sharpness is kind of distracting.

The angle of the shot works very well to dispay the chase, the framing is always very well done, and even though the focus is not entirely sharp, the overall effect is awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Whoa, robins in flight. Now theres a great capture. I feel lucky if I can get a seagull or egret. The smaller birds are almost impossible to catch. Great pic. Cheers, James.
