initial impact is good. very good, in fact. the look on her face and the detail you have accomplished shows wonderful talent. the shading and highlights are well done. the background is good, as is the dimension. the proportions are precise. i love it. nice work.

I have to tell you how exact your artwork is Linda, you even got the dimple in correctly. In art class we used to use pictures as references as well....I flunked art (as I've told you before I'm sure).
This is even better than the original photo....and I really like the sepia as well.

Flunking art doesn't mean you aren't an artist. Have you ever seen art teacher's art? Omg, so bad. They don't know real art. You just keep producing, and appreciating your work.
