this is really beautiful, they say a women's heart is an ocean of secrets and in this, you have made me feel like this, I love how it speaks to me in a thousand unspoken words.

Katya, this is lovely. I wish I had 6 stars to give you. I find it gentle, and soft, and full of feminine beauty. It truly is a perfect painting for Valentine's Day. You deserve the win. Congratulations.

I think this is a really beautiful work of art, but I really wish you had written in your notes which medium you have used. It makes it so much easier to review. What I like the best about this image is the very lovely color pallet and also the nicely textured background.

This is also done with good attention to details, and most of all, you have brought the light into your work by adding high light to the face. Very nice shadings both in the clothes and the face and shoulder.

This image is also nicely framed and it is a good flow and balance in the composition. Well crafted work of art and I wish you luck with the contest.

You probably didn't notice it says on top in the post that it's a watercolor painting, thank you for your kind review.

The problem is that when you click on an image and start to review this is no longer visible. Better to add information like this in your notes. I did think it was water colors, but wasn't quite sure. You are of course more than welcome for the review.

Do you mean that it's not showing or you can't see it because you scrolled down the page?
reply by avmurray on 10-Feb-2015
You can see it before you click on it to review it, but very often you don't read what is written until you start to review, and then you never see the subtitle.

Katya, oh how I wish I could give you some constructive criticism to enhance and make this upload even better. I am at a loss for words. You have come to FAR and are burning a fire with your presence.

How long did it take you to do this piece? ....and how were your inspired, did this come from your imagination!?

I really take to chiaroscuro work. I love it as it brings such a solid feeling into my heart and one of mystery as well. The light shadow play you have here is truly wonderful. The story can be felt, her longing for love touches us all.

You are, without a doubt, a top notch artist.

Simply stunning.

Olya, you always blow me away with your comments:)))
This one took me about 5 hours and it took me a long time to find the concept for it, it's way out of my realistic range and I finally found an image I could work from, my own imagination is not that good, surprising to me this kind of work is way easier than realistic where you are bound to your subject, which usually would take me 10-20 hours to finish. Thank you again for your kind feedback:))
