This one came out gorgeous. The lighting is exceptional. I really like the overall feel of this one. The color and exposure is excellent. You are doing phenomenally well on your selfie. Never seen anything on FAR with over a hundred views-let alone in only 3 days! Should win 1st place.

Beautiful work Annie. This is indeed a masterpiece of light and shadow. In addition the structure and colors of the church contribute to the overall image. Congratulation in winning the contest and thanks for sharing.

Congratulations on winning the contest, and very well deserved! This is a stunningly beautiful pictute. I love the the way the light is coming through the window and hitting the chairs, and the beautiful color in the walls. At first I thought it was a painting. Well done!

I enjoy the light coming through the window, very fitting for an old church. The walls are amazing and I really like all the brown hues as it bring a very warm feel to the church and the photo. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

This is a wonderful composition. The initial impact is very positive. The light streaming in the window first catches my eye and then it follows the flowing light over the chairs. This is an excellent study in lighting. I very much like how the photo is framed on both sides with the pillars. The architecture is beautiful in this old church. I love the many shapes presented and the warm compatible colors. The photo at first appears a little dark, but then I am sure the inside of this ancient church is dark. I am always impressed with your talents.

Spectacular old church captured very uniquely and well, good sharp focus giving nice detail throughout, good composition and well suited to portrait style, the light control to capture the light rays is well managed showing good camera skills. Well done!

I just voted for this, so I figured I should also review it as well.
This is truly Majestic with the sun rays shining through the window lighting up the chairs.
The tone mapping gives it a crisp 3D look showing off the vintage marble and wood.
This is a Clear 'Be still and Now moment" God is on the throne and I am where I should be. He gives us just enough light to meet us where we are.
Focus, POV, use of natural light and your editing adjustments make this just SHINE!
WELL DONE!
My only comment to fix is that white spot on the left..I would clone it out.
CONGRATS on your win here Cara! YIPPEEEE!

Thanks a lot for the congratulations. You are so right about the spot, and I had not even noticed it before you pointed it out. Just shows you how blind you can be about your own work. Tusen takk for de seks stjernene også.

Agree with you. I like the sun rays on the empty chairs. All well composed, good natural light, framed and showing the very historic and old architecture details.
