I actually like those films, I admit it, I like all films set in far and foreign lands, if only for the scenery and cultural life styles- though I am not keen on modern techniques, often bad acting is hidden by modern techniques but I think that lot are pretty good actors and some interesting stories and your cartoonish depiction is also interesting-- I am surprised to see your main character wielding a gun though!!

LOL. Another great one mark. Man you are really cranking these out. Do you ever sleep? Interestingly enough, the Morristown TN Theater guild just gave a party for two members, the Flockarts. Their daughter Calista (stars on Super girl) and her husband, Harrison Ford were there. She and Harrison come a couple of times a year for a visit. This reminded me of the get together last week. Great work man ~ Steve

Hello, :)
Good job. I was going to point something out to you, but I don't remember the movie that well. Good job on the Indiana Jones character! :P
How are you coming on the video pictures?
Mark, no agents are even emailing me and turning this down -- I mean, I'm getting a little angry! LOL!
People love your art on the story. Are you reading my writing? :)

This is great. As usual you have created something that has an overall impact that inspires conversation. And your originality is always strong with your unique perspective. I always notice how you fill your vacant space with some interesting technique such as pointillism. Your 'torch' wall is geometrically perfect. How did you accomplish that? And I cannot figure out what is on Indiana's neck? Hope all is well with you. NR

OK..I'll answer them all..the wall? I'm trying to sound cocky but I swear I see things in depth, artistically speaking that is..take the flower cartoons I'm always trying to draw like I'm looking thru a camera. The photographers here on FAR r really my inspiration. So when I draw I all do it in an angle that I may have reviewed..about Indy flower..that is a petal ring.. See in the funnie flower world an active flower would need to tie it's petals back. Indy is a lil stylish with a silver petal ring that has a tribal design if u look close.. Oh BTW this is only a 5x8" so u can imagine how big that flower ring is. wink wink.. Thanks for the great

I think the depth on this one is one of my favs. You are getting better and better at that. You still haven't answered my question about the perfect stones on the torch wall. I took architectural drafting in college and am very impressed!
-
I hate to sound stupid but always love drawing angles and depths..a ruler and lotta eyeballing to get it right..never had any classes and majority I learned on my own overtime was on my own.and a few years here on FAR does help too..winl

You are a pro. Thanks for all of the replies. :D NR

This is awesome! I started laughing and couldn't stop for like 5 minutes. In this piece I really noticed what kind of talent you possess. The detailing around the torch and on the floors and wall are so good.
Is there any way to make your marker strokes less obvious? It takes away from other details. Maybe only stroking the marker in one direction instead of in circles or up and down. Just a thought....
Great Job!
