Your pen and ink rendition of this stallion is exceptionally great. I have never done pen and ink, but I know the hours and work that go into it. Not to mention all of the work you did in the printing process. A very gifted artist, you be.

I enjoy viewing art like this.

The reason being is that you have the whole horse as an alternative drawing in with the portrait type.

Not sure if you know what I mean but I had one done of our deceased dog with the older version of him in the painting with the puppy of him in the foreground.

It is awesome

I think this is a very nice drawing. I like the pointalism technique as well. I have not done it in a while. Nice proportions in this. The montage looks good.

Hi there Lucien. This is certainly a beauty! Tremendous work here. This is a great technique to use and very effective in the way you do it. I love the shadowing under the fringe, a great touch, and the beautiful full tail in the background. A magnificent animal you have created here, Joanne:)

As seen in some of your other works...you have definitely achieved excellent results of Seurat's Pointillism in your pen and ink art renderings. His paintings are truly that of a special era of Mastery and "nouvelle" as you do add a special dimension to his style through your highly commendable illustrated style of realism as seen in this completed drawing...no modifications. The dual composition and placement of this horse in regards to design is very commendable. Thank you for sharing your art with me.

this is beautiful! I love horses and you did an amazing job on the detail! I like the use of pointilisn here and can greatly appreciate the time that this must have taken. I did a pointilism piece in college years ago, very time consuming! Great work!
