Very good portrait in pencil, Linda and lovely use of light and shade in this. I like the pose you drew and I think you've achieved a very good likeness to John Wayne.
Excellent blending and detail. Very nice composition. Suzanne

The success of this is easy to see, i.e., you can instantly tell who it is, although I'm not used to seeing him this young. Again, pencil? Can't believe that. :)) Cheers, James.

Outstanding work, very creative composition with a definite mastery of light. Again, exquisite rendering transcending the physical and exposing to the viewer the essence of the subject, the humanness. An absolutely stunning work. Thanks

Very delightful drawing. It is beautiful. I don't know the photo but guess the precision of this drawing is 99.999999999 percent. It is adorable. Expression is well communicated. Well done.

This is amazing, Linda. I really like the portrait that you decided to draw, out of all the choices you would have had. Your artistry speaks to me within that choice of framing. Your confidence in leaving so much vacant space is impressive and I say it makes takes this over the top in Originality and Aesthetic Impacts. Your skills are amazing. Nice work. NR

This is fantastic. I love the detail and the effect of the pencil. It looks like a movie poster and not a pencil drawing. My dad would have loved this! Using the sepia color made it even better.
