this photo is too busy and the cables and fence in the foreground are a real distraction

also ,the fact that the colors are no similar makes it difficult to see details

still, a nice try, thanks for sharing

Not really sure what to make of this. I know it is a contest about rubbish but I thought you may have found a better POV to capture it rather than straight on. Lots of interesting shapes and assortment of rubbish. Not much colour in the image which makes it look gloomy which I guess works for a rubbish dump scene.

A most appropriate entry for the contest. At first I thought the cars were trash but sounds like its a real parking lot. No I don't think I'd park there! Good luck in contest.

This is so sad the little respect some people for our Earth. What an absolutely horrible mess. Very good shot demonstrating this.

I know isn't it amazing how people can trash it up so much!

A pathetic sight. I hear that in New York a parking space is more valuable than the car parked in it most of the time. This shot makes it seem that in a metropolitan area the amount of trash generated far outpaces our ability to deal with it. A fine shot with great details. Best of luck in the contest.

New York has cleaned up markedly in the last 10 years but this was unbelievable! Thanks

I would like to see the underground railroad track. No I don't think I would park here. I like the sepia tone

This is typical for the title of this contest. I thought maybe the cars were part of the dump.

This is an excellent entry for the contest. The most meaning full in my opinion, even it might in a different way than intended. If I had a car and could drive, I probably would park there. I don't think this mess is caused by homeless people. To me this looks like an illegal dump where "good citizen" put the stuff they do not want any longer. Just as when someone put a couch n my front loan at night. I had to call the city, and of curse, pay for the clean up. Such seems city life.
It is a well taken photo. I cannot se any technical failure. The enhancements are made skilfully. The archived touch of sepia seems to amplify the sadness of this place.
