Wonderful impact with great detail. The contrast between the stone images and the sky well done in those particular hues of sand and blue, works fantastically. Nicely done light and shadow. The composition is full of stunning angles and shapes. Great digital enhancements, thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest.

An outstanding scene photographed from an excellent perspective. The mass and solidity of this ruins is readily apparent which should serve you well in the contest. I like the subtle tones and the background treatment is appropriate for the subject. Best of luck in the voting.

I like the history behind this photo. It looks to be quite old. Was this scanned? I say that because of the look in the top left-hand corner as I look at it. The composition is very nice. Historical objects can be the best photos to take. It gives you so much to work with.

Bravo! I really do like this! You seem to have the perfect shot for this contest. I am impressed and I think others will be too!
I got home Saturday from the warm south. I missed all the snow and cold weather and now can enjoy spring. I shot about 5000 shots while I've been gone and have posted two for contests.
You have a nice day!!

I love the old look color choice you have used. This rarely works but is Perfect for this subject. Your balance of shadow, including the slight vignette, throughout the image is very well done. Your use of the available light lets the viewer to see all the detail yet keeping all the angles and depth drawing you in.

Beautifully composed. I love the simplicity, geometric arrangement, sharp detail and especially the diagonal stones which impart a sense of tension and interest. The background with the slight halo over the wall edge is very impressive. Wonderful, National Geographic worthy. Great job. Cheers, James.

This is an interesting photo with great lines and shapes as well as clearly defined depth and perspective. The diagonal stone structure looks like a projectile that has landed in that particular position to deliver emphasis. The combination of light, color, and shadow is outstanding, with the green-aqua color of the sky providing contrast and eye appeal. Framing is excellent, and picture is nicely balanced. There is clarity and sharpness of detail images, and focus, in general, is excellent.
