With all your postings lately it is obvious that your holiday is over, and this is a truly lovely entry for this contest. The reflection from the white bird is really well captured and I like the kind of darkness of the surroundings for both the bird and its reflection to stand out in the most excellent way.
Your photo is also nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in the bird, and both the white balance and exposure works well.
Also the cropping is very good and the bird has got a good placement within the frame. It is a good flow and balance in this composition. It is also a really well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

It's not easy to sneak up on dinner when you are bright white. But here you have captured the stealth of the predator very well. Good exposure for the whites and an excellent reflection. Best of luck in the contest.
