Great job on this cover. The book sounds fascinating. I will make a note to order a copy, A psychologist friend just gave me a book he had written where it was told in the first person and the characters are pigs. So I will have two entertaining books to look forward to reading. Well done.

I did look up your book, Lucien, but must say the cover doesn't do the story line justice. The three pieces of art on the cover are lovely by themselves, but there is little cohesiveness in the style or the layout of the art. THe design of the cover appears to be quite dated! My husband is an author with a couple books to his credit, with covers that show quite nicely especially in thumbnails (e-books, etc) which show quite nicely. I think the title and cover needs to draw the viewer quickly to pick it up and neither works for me. Jean

The art is lovely separately but somehow doesn't fit as three pieces-it dates the book somehow the way it is laid out-I would choose one piece of art, possibly the bridge, larger, maybe a bleed. Orange is possibly my favorite color in art, but it doesn't strike the same appeal on this cover, it is almost a sepia. It is hard to redo a cover in a few short words on the internet, there are professional book cover designers who do top notch work at a pretty low price. I looked on Amazon, don't do Facebook! LOL! jean

initial impact is good. it can be a task shooting a book cover trying to get the lighting just right with no reflection. you've handled it well. the colors are good and sharp. nice job.

thnak you fro your time and review of my books cover.
The book is available on Amazon Europe and Amazon Britain, as well. Yes the upload here seems to have distorted part of the written words there.
I hope you will go to the FB page and help promote it there as well, thank you once again, this is the best copy I could get to up load, and it seems to lose something when posted here. Going to Amazon and the publisher?s page: createspace it is a better resolution and of course having a copy makes it easier to read. (He said with a chuckle)

The cover as I see it is is beautifully done with great imagery but targets a market that is older, both in color and tone. I can't read the back cover either here or on Amazon which prevents me from offering a solid opinion. I get the sense that this would and could be a fabulous children's book as well, cover and marketing would have to be altered slightly or maybe not. It occurred to me after my last note that you were asking about my createspace book... it is called Flight From Colombia. If Dirt Could Talk was done with another publishing program. Neither have had success by the way. But some people make it happen. Good luck and hope you make it happen!
