Lucien please don't tell me to go to FB I don't do FB but I want to comment on this upload.
I found myself getting angry because I couldn't read what was written on the back jacket. I squinted and tried and because I'm on the road and not at home I don't have my magnifying glass with me....yeee gads I really wanted to read that and I couldn't.
I do like the colour, it is warm and the gradient handling gives it a "movement" feeling so that feather floating there piqued my interest, it is as if it is floating through a misty miasma.
Lucien, the drawing of the bridge looks professional and spot on the money, it grabs the eye, however those three pigeons in the corner look smudged and amateurish lacking definition, in comparison with the bridge it weakens the cover. If I found this in a bookstore I would pick it up, look at bridge drawing, read the back and put it back because of those three pigeons.
You say "A Story about Discovery" this gives the impression that the whole book is about discovery, had you said "A Story of Discovery" the leeway would have been felt and more relaxed, not as draconian, if you know what I mean. Alas, the horse is out of the barn. Maybe next time, put up your ideas before printing.

however, I am pleased you decided to comment on the post.

This is the best copy I could get to up load, and it seems to lose something when posted here ( I tried but it is what it is, not sure how to correct for it). Going to Amazon and the publisher?s page: createspace it is a better resolution, on the Amazon page you can look inside the book and read the synopses.
Seriously: I think once you read that you would buy it, especially if you like pigeons and a good story.

The image is not clear making the wording appear unreadable on this cover. I can't discern what the book is about. The image and color do not draw your attention to the book. Unfortunately, if it was on a shelf at the library, I would not be drawn to it or pick it up do to what I could see here and it could be a really great read.
