Your editing skills are discreet and take little away from the true historic feel of this scene. Was the photo painted on the door or etched into it or both? I wonder how it looked without any editing. I love the colors in this photo and the shapes and shadows of course, are well composed by you. The framing is perfect as well. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Becky. The head of the woman was painted on the door, and the original photo looks very much the same. I just added poster lines to the painting part to make it stand out even better.

Great save the painting and carving on the door make it well worth saving, is the tree branch always there or was it for photographic purposes. The maple leaf carved in to the door makes one think of Canada.
