What a fantastic image! I see so many different textures from the worn wood, the plaster walls and the bark of the branch. The monochromatic tones add much to the atmosphere of the image. Very nice.
Good luck in the contest!

What a beautiful door and how wonderful that it has been preserved. Your framing and lighting are perfect as are the focus and depth of field. I would love to see more of this hotel.

What a neat composition. I like all the texture. Very nice touch with the choice of filters on the door. I really love the branch that comes in on the right. Wonderful job and best of luck in the contest.

This is a very nice composition, balanced, interesting with good light and texture. It is focused. You get a sense of story you can see the door is old and you have included something different with the branch adding a sense of scale. Wonderful!

This is gorgeous! Love the overall composition. Great lighting and definition. The antique feature makes it stand more. My honey and I collect antique furniture sand we surely appreciate history and the good old days. Great choice for a subject. Thank you for sharing your talent and work of art.

WOW, what a find! The picture is historic and enchanting. The door with the painting(artists will paint anything, and this isn't bad, the painting) The unique perspective leads your eyes to the entire door. The walls add character since they appear to be decaying. I love the compotition. The tree branch and shadows on the right seem pointing to the door. Well done. Good luck in the competition

A beautiful door in a perfect niche. The colors are excellent and the composition is very fine. I like the branch that goes with it. The details are beautiful and the cropping could not be better.

Excellent mixed media transitions, Wow, in color harmony, detail, and total composition. Enjoy how you placed the dried tree branch in front of the door and texture in the old stuckow over stone, really creative. Gives a real dated look, feel. Well done and thanks for sharing,
bunkie.

Wow! What a great entry for this contest. An amazing door and this has to be a winner with that old dead snag of a tree next to it. A very well composed photo that really grabs one's attention. The art work on the door really transforms it from an old relic to a work of art.
Nice find and a great photo. Good luck in the contest!
