A brilliant picture of this adorable Westie (West Highland Terrier) that bring memories flooding back of Jenny my Westie who lived a long & happy life. Your depiction of the eyes are so life like I can see them follow me around & I almost expect him to flick one of his ears or put up a paw for attention. Created with superb & very skilful draftsmanship beautiful choice blending & application of your colours to bring the Dog to life.

Softness thou speakest to me.
How well done in pastels is your little Scottie, soft through and through and his soft gentle spirit shines out to us. The eyes bore into us and we fall in love with your art.
You show your deftness as an artist for we can see long flowing strokes throughout except in the eye area where there is a sharpness and that is the hook that grabs us....you knew what you were doing as an artist. I also love the colour palette of cool blue against white, a hint of green to show us how small this little pup is. The emotion is there, we see his curiosity, his innocent playfulness....really this is exceptional work, I really like it a lot.
I just checked to see if I still have any six stars left...and I DO and you get it because this image has touched me on a deeper level. It's excellent.

As usual a beautiful defined pastel design - lovely in expression, perfect in proportions, your blue background fits him perfectly with his face expression (touch of sadness) excellent detail work, perfect shadow and light application
