A very clear photograph of this statue and the high pass filter you used worked wonders for you in punching out sharpness and detail. You have put my faith back into high pass work.

Also, thank you for your artist's notes which help to flush out the history of this statue.

I like the point of view, it looks to me like not only did you bring your tripod with you but a ladder as well.

Thanks for the nice review as always.

I usually do high pass on my images. I find that you can get them sharp without the tell tale halos that ruin an image.
For blending mode, I use either overlay or hard light and then adjust the opacity to liking.

I did not use a tripod but did have the shutter speed at 1/2000. That usually cures the "shakes".
