This 'cover' shows well as a thumbnail and actually would draw one in if offered as an ebook. There is/was a TV series in the USA called "Whispers" which involved children and a seemingly imaginary, but very real malevolent force. The child here on the cover reminded me of one of the characters and I only watched the episodes while babysitting my grand daughter as I couldn't change the channel on their TV set! Got sidetracked, sorry! THe red, white and black is always a draw card and especially a composition which is arranged in a pleasing manner. The type style is well chosen and I do like the way the leg of the 'w' forms what looks like a tail, with less subtle 'tails' on the other letters. The little girl's eye's are spooky and she seems to glow, encased in what looks like plaster. I would definitely pick the book up! jean

I want to read it! So creative and tells the story that will make the book jump of the shelf. The construction of the cover uses space and positioning perfectly. The eyes of the child just screams mystery and intrigue. The red lettering on the grey B/W background jumps off the page. Good luck!

This is definitely a book cover I would stop and look at on the shelf. It is creepy for sure. I'm no sure I would choose to read the book. :D Your creation of this cover is stunning as are all of your mixed media and digital creations. Wow! Is just about all I can say! Rebecca

What secrets the child is hiding? Are those statues in the background or ghosts? What is their story. Do the child know? This cover and the title are inspiriting many questions, but answering non, which is a sure way to capture the interest of any reader. Seeing the cover and the title on is inclined to by this book.
Pssst, or I cannot hear the whispers about the book: What is the story? Ahhh... It's a mystery, no? ...It's a ghost story, no? Hmm... It is a mysterious ghost story with a great touch of humor... It will make #1 at the European markets and the New York Times bestseller list...
There are many whispers, but one is louder than any of the others .... "The cover is in a competition and might run for the win of it. That might could be true. Best Luck!

This is absolutely phenomenally breathtaking. Someone needs to write a book and you need to create their jacket for them. This could be a full time job for you doing something you love and getting paid for creating ART...Digital Art....something I still have yet to try; to learn; to figure out (smile). I am totally speechless with your creativeness. This just blows me away....seriously. YOU ARE GOING TO WIN THIS CONTEST!!!! yes you are.
My entry i was finishing just before I noticed yours is like a pebble compared to you boulder of a monumental creation. I am totally in awe. YOU ARE AN ARTIST with a capital A. You should have a spread of your artistic creations...your PHOTOGRAPHY, MIXED MEDIA, DIGITAL ART displayed in a Gallery. I AM SERIOUS. YOU ARE THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO WHEN IT COMES TO this. I am honored to be able to share these pages of this membership with you.
you deserve every single star squared...if i could...36 stars plus

Brilliant book cover because, i think, of the whisper apparitions behind her, but also the lovely eeriness of the child. The child, by the way, is strikingly beautiful which gives strong initial impact. Her eyes are amazing. The bits of red are a nice device: used to lead the child image into the book title, tying them together, and adding an attention grabbing color to the whole. About the only suggestion i would make is to make sure all the letters, mostly the black ones, could stand out a bit more. Black on black hard to read. just a little more gray there. It's great. Good luck in any contest!
