Great shot, picked wild blackberries while visiting my family in Oregon last week. Yes, the thorns can be nasty but the berries are worth the effort. Very well framed, good focus and a sunny look to show the tasty details.

Memories of blackberry picking with my parents as a child immediately come to mind and yes the thorns are a killer used to end up with so many scratches. Wonderful photo showing the berries beautifully with great focus. :) Mary

but, the background is not blur enough and the light spots on the background distract and pull my eyes from the main subject of the photo

Mmmm! There are some blackberries growing wild on bushes near where I live. Nothing like a blackberry and apple pie or crumble! I like how you showed the different stages of development and also how they cut diagonally across the frame, with the softened background foliage making them pop.
