Helplessness and determination in this kitten's face.

The catch of human hands holding this pet is what transforms this into magic. I do wish you had put your creative process down, just a tad so we could learn from you. Was this a studio shot or deft dof usage? Sharp as a whisker, well exposed with perhaps a touch of blow out on the paw, which I'm going to ignore.

:) Thank you so much!! This was just a candid outdoor shot, late afternoon with my 5D, 1/200 sec shutter, f/5 F-Stop, 4.9 aperature, 500 ISO, 200 mm focal length with my 75-300 mm lens. I love this long lens because it affords me the luxury of getting in close from a distance without effecting the natural interactive dynamic going on in a playful situation or interaction with a subject I'm framing. Love the depth of field of this shot when it came to little Charcoal's charms.
