An awesome work of art. This must have taken a long time to do. You get such wonderful detail in these type of drawings. I like the way you have done this and the way you have the leaves in the drawing. An excellent and beautiful work of art.

In the week that just passed was Prevent Child Abuse week and if humans learned from other species in the caring for their young like you have shown in your drawing it would be a better place. I posted a photo showing a mother polar bear caring for her cub.

Yes , my artwork because of the techniques I use takes a lot of time. The technique slows me way down and forces me to really looks at the subject and see what is there, the textures and the way the light is absorbed and reflected. I'm glad you like the results of my efforts in trying to become an artist.

a rapidagraphm (it is a brand name for this type of pen as well), is a speicla pen used by draftsman and inker, that do not reuire you to fill it all the time like a quil pen. it ellimates the constant back and forth filling of the tip of the pen to the ink well. anyway if you would like more info look it up on line, most art stores carry them.
