So sweet, reminds me of my nephew. You did an excellent job with this one, just the right amount of light to contrast the dark shoes and pants. I can almost hear him saying his prayers because it's so real. Thanks for sharing your God-given gifts with us. Bea226

A piece that made my heart heave when I first saw it. Just beautiful, moving and technically perfect in my amateur eye. The proportions are perfect, detail is gentle and accurate down to the last wrinkle and curl. The left foot below the child is a detail that any perceptive parent of a young child has seen and loved in it's youthful, innocent position just behind the bended knee with the foot turned and flattened as only a child can do. A Divinely inspired work of emotional genius! Just wonderful!!
I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter.

This is a beautiful drawing, showing that kids also love Jesus! I too am a Christian first and foremost. I too lost a child who was a girl, she was stillborn. I can see why this drawing won!

If I could give you a six I would! This captured my eyes and my heart. Technically it is outstanding. How you created such depth in the folds of the clothing amazes me. The curls in his hair are so soft and real I want to reach out and touch it. The drawing has weight, in that you can "feel" the knees in contact with the floor. Just amazing! Thank you for sharing!

OMG wonderful!!!
Extremely well drawn. Hair with curls, head down, shoes, socks, creases in his pants + shirt. My God you like details.... Shadows well placed, little hands down, little foot curled up. IN all this is a WONDERFUL drawing of yours. Congratulations for the hard work.

Hello again. I really appreciate you sharing your art on here!! It is so realistic I love the curls. The way the background is highlighted just adds to the fact that he is praying--like the sky is opening up and god is shining down :) Congrats on winning too!

Another amazing Art? Once again a good way to make the image speak out some true emotions. The way of thinking about facts and describing those on a blank is truly Encouraging. One of the best skill you bear is that you know how to play with shadows and lights.Looking forward to learn more from you.M honored to be a Fan of yours :-) Good luck there.

Utterly enchanting. This is such an evocative picture - this really is the way young children pray - with such fervour. It reminds me of my children when they pray.
