The background with the fireworks is superb! You have fine exposure and details on the fireworks but I am afraid your eagle Is over exposed on the white and the focus is very soft, with loss of details and eye clarity. I do know the challenges of shooting these birds. You need to manually set White balance and center meter their eyes.
It is a creative piece, but a sharper image was needed on the eagle.

Great idea for the 4th of July contest.

Sadly that eagle is blurred, it needs to be sharp, it is the focal point with fireworks as back up.

I think you know this too.

The idea however is spot on.

this is a wonderful entry to this contest.
