Aaaah, very cool. Love the vibrancy of this image. Grand capture - I love how you also captured the brick wall peeking through - great added detail. Fantastic color and focus. This is a classic image. Thanks for sharing and good luck.

A beautiful picture of this world famous image of the Sailor kissing his loved one/wife on VJ Day in 1945 The colours certainly make it more eye catching & are skilfully painted in to echo the Joy of that day...I remember it though I was only five at the time. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

I'm glad you photographed this mural and shared it here on FAR. It is a clear and vibrant photo; well taken. I'm SO GLAD they used this updated iconic WWII photo to liven up an ugly building, instead of glorifying a drug-addicted entertainer, as we so often see. However, I absolutely love the original black and white, but I suppose the new generation could not appreciate it without it being jazzed up in colors and patterns like they did here. Well done.

weird moral, too busy and full of colors for my taste, since the colors confuse and does not let the eyes stop on the couple, who seem to be the main subject
