This is a neat picture that you took! I like the black and white. It is in good focus, and I like the framing of the image. Good luck in the contest! :)

I really enjoyed reading your notes, you are also a good writer. I like your choice of filters to add to the mystique of this shot and the moment, it lends to the overall pathos of the shot and makes it more interesting. Good luck in the contest.

Nice capture of nature reclaiming the space that the car had been dumped in - possibly a stolen vehicle left after joy ride? Little blown out in sky behind otherwise a nice entry into competition.

Quite sure Sean can tell you loads about this abandoned beauty. Yes,what man abandons Nature eventually claims as her own, after awhile it will lie under a mat of greenery and be out of sight, various creatures will make their homes in it as Nature repurposes it.A great entry for the contest that is well taken and presented, best wishes to you in the contest!

that is such a good photo and very interesting story. the mystery is best left undiscovered and that is why such images and notions become more dynamic and vital. to become a nice home for creatures is mighty fine.

Wow Cleo I thought this post resembles those of Sean so much. What an interesting and excellent use of B/W.
This almost appears to be eire with a ghost like figure sitting in the vehicle. A wonderful and unique entry for the contest. Best of luck!

What looks like ghosts are some boxes inside the car.

To this day I don't understand why there are so many abandoned vehicles in certain regions. I have yet to find one here. But I certainly like how each one offers a fine Photographic subject as the vehicle and nature become one slowly growing old together.
Nice choice if black and white with fine focus.
Nice work Cleo ;)

Gee, shades of Sean Phalen here Cleo and so very well done. The front on view is perfect especially with the vine coverage. All your post processing is seamless and works so well to fit how you describe the scene in your notes. Did you d well in the contest?

Quite a mysterious happening indeed! Wonder why these have not caught the imagination and greed of the scrap dealers! I like this black and white shot. The clarity is good. So also the composition! Thanks for sharing!
