Makes me want to reach in and touch him. Looks unbelievably soft. I'm trying to figure out how he can balance like that on the branch? Awesome.

They are the lovey cuddly looking type. lol It amazes me how, as you have provided in your notes, they can survive on one type of vegetation. they are alive, yet they live on what no one else probably could survive on. What they got? lol Maybe some studies on their biological clock and genes could come up with the cancer cure of them all. lol Not funny, cause I believe that this kind of mind wandering is how a lot of what we know came about. I mean look at that thick and evenly grown length of fur it's wearing. If I'm not eating right for a bit, my hair starts to fall out. lol I can see why it sleeps a lot though. Cannot a baby be introduced to a few more foods I wonder? If it hasn't been eating yet for itself it wouldn't know what it's diet was. You would think. Or why hasn't the fabric industry come up with an imitation koala fur for collars on coats or baby rugs. Could you imagine getting out of the shower and walking into your room onto that rug?
great capture, great focus and framing

thanks a lot lulu for your fantastic long comments and high rating; unfortunately, on this stupid site, as you can see, most 5 1/2 don't count for ranking; better to convert to 5 or 6;

I never knew that about the 5.5. Why is it there then? A wasted effort.
I change for you.

Nice capture of this tiny little fellow. Great focus and nice color. The background sets him out and gives it a nice depth. Framing and POV are also good. Thanks for sharing and HAGD.

Australian wildlife is so unique. The Kangaroo, Koala and Platypus. You have captured the softness of the Koala here and have shown great DOF. Although they are cute, they have claws that that will rip you apart.
