Yes, the end is near for this mallard. Love the angle, really showing the big and opened mouth, ready to gobble the prey. On the other hand, I guess, the duck can still fly, and have her chance to to tell her near death experience. An image with a story to tell.

A cute and fun shot, I suspect this little mallard will be ok as the gator looks to be pretty stationary. All well framed, good focus and exposure. Neat.
