A very nice shot that takes advantage of the contrasty lighting to render the background almost black. The colors of the petals is astounding and the cropping is excellent.

I have a Rhoddendron.... Right in front of my House... been here for over 30 yrs
always a wonderful way to welcome summer When they start to bloom....

Fantastic close-up on this bud, the colors are fantastic - fushia deep with a nice textured yellow supporting it. Light and shadow played nicely and a great depth of field. Focus is bud solid with fine details throughout. Thanks for sharing.
