the art work is highly skilled. with only black and white colours you have created a live photograph. shading is so perfect. the theme is very interesting.

Very nice result for all that patience, Lucien! I wouldn't want to be the mouse model... ;) I particularly like the element in the lower right, of the bird in flight coming directly at the viewer. Or reviewer, as the case may be!

What beautiful painstaking work you do...Quite amazing to behold How do you do this with such pointed detail...I know this must take you hours and hours it is so very finely detailed and and beautifuly created..I was wondering if you use a picture as a model or create from inner vision... at any rate this is quite impressive, in it's very real and lifelike character.I like the way you put the birds into a perfectly formed collage each one fittting like a puzzle...Intriging and captivating your audience and drawing the viewer into the artistry,and once drawn in they are rewarded with even more fine detail,and thought provoking imagery!Very fine work...The eyes are intence and interesting also!

i love the work you did on this, just one thing that kept me from going five, the head is somewhat missing or i am not seeing it with the bird with the prey in its talons, very nice job otherwise.

sarnewfie; look again, see the eye, see the beak? (it's under the owls wing) because it's there. Do you really think I'd forget the head after all the work it took to create the image?... really now ( he said with disbelief in his voice)... thanks for taking the time to look and giving the review, much appreciated... take care and cheers... I can certainly appreciate how exhausted you must have been then when you eventually completed this one, I bet the rapidograph pen was a god send after that technique, lol! I love the continuity in this piece, the imagery is very striking and overall it is excellent. Very detailed work, well done, Joanne:)

I like this collage composition birds of prey are one of my favorite species I like the owl in the middle with the mouse in its talons I like intricate details and textures of the birds they are well placed around the picture thanks for sharing!!
