This is a really beautiful capture , I love the moment you got him with open wings in the extreme stretch - great close up , your focus is clear and sharp and I think your contrast and lighting are spectacular, letting the water shine like silk. I love the color range as the wings reflect exactly the same colors as the waters own in that moment integrating the duck so beautifully in this picture

your shot is well balanced, well framed with the perfect negative space , excellent capture, thanks for sharing

The mallard is one of my favorite subjects! You have captured this mallard drake very well! Spot on focus, the image is clear, perfect exposure allowing the natural colors and tones, well placed in frame, he stands out so nice in the water, I love his lifted wings! Beautiful work !
