This is a nice way to show your caption, it says "it's very cold". Like the drifts of snow on the bridge and the fog halos around the light bulbs. Good presentation with the slight angle. This entire picture looks like a story. The picture is modified in a way that it looks like something between a picture and a photographic drawing (well this is HDR, I suppose). First you are watching those street lights and then those purple and red lights above. You see the perspective lines of the bridge and then again the smaller street lights in the background. There are so many elements in it, all extremely sharp, and different lights, that somehow I believe it has an effect on your memory, when you see those street images again in your dream.

Hi Rebecca, I thought I had responded to your post but it looks like maybe not.

This was a fun shot, maybe the cold story got me some sympathy. :).

After seeing our daughter in GA we landed in Tampa last night, Venice today.

No photo ops yet. :(

Glad you are safe and sound and through the snow storm...not that a no storm means much to you. But being in the midst of southern drivers in snow is a danger quite different! Be well and enjoy the warmth!

Very well done in after dark image of city life. Everything sharp and clear, with excellent framing from the bridge. Enjoy all the beautiful lights you captured from the highrise buildings, signs and street level lights. Colors from lights are rich and brilliant and love how they light the snow. First want to say, I like your profile statement, and agree with you. So, thank you for that. Love this photo. The glowing lights bring your photo to a artistic level, and not just "another downtown with skylines. Also, that you captured and honed colors that stand out and tone down the whites. The perspective with the bridge adds yet another wow factor in my opinion. Fantastic framing too. I'd love to see this in a city brochure.
