I like this one alot. The bug is nicely detailed and you have controlled his colors perfectly..making sure the black doesn't make his features disappear. My favorite part if your accomplishment of shooting either with the sun overhead of with it in front of you. That has created what some may not like with the flair around the leaf points...but that is what I like the most...and the shadow through the leaf. Your dof is just right to catch the bug and leafy shadow. BG is beautiful and actually places a nice green frame behind the bug. Beautiful and natural colors in the sun! Very deserving of an extra star!

the blurry background against the sharp insect makes it stand out,good shallow dof and use of the foliage adds a bit of interest in this,nicely taken shot and your patience paid of in this..brian
