Superb shot Fred!

I love the green here and what a nice downhill shot.

The flow is really pleasing to the eyes.

Love this one and jealous you get to visit these places so readily :)

Beautiful, exotic and real. This is a great picture of the actual life of some people. This is an amazing shot. I really love the fields in the background.

A very different landscape image showing the terraced rice paddies. Like the addition of the workers heading home. The color and composition is good. Cheers Mary

What a beautiful photo. Capturing this amazing landscape. The colors are gorgeous. The authenticity of an everyday world away from ours. The shadows and lighting only add to this great piece. Nice, nice, nice!

Gorgeous! When I first say this I though of the Norman Rockwell paintings of the seasons. Love the terraces and how they curve and the little hut up there on the hill and the people in the front. Great job!

Lovely representation of these worked fields, the peaple coming up gives a good perspective of how big this is. Lovely colour green, lovely balance in this photo with your trees in the middle giving a horizon look and fields before and after. Also story telling as well.

Outstanding shot! Not only as a landscape shot, but it also has journalistic appeal...

* Commendable composition - framed perfectly to show the rice field steps, the overall contour of the land, and the workers one-by-one trekking up the hill.

*Outstanding technical quality - exposure, sharp detail, DOF, etc. The ONLY thing I might do to improve is to clone out the bottom right reddish plant peeking out along the bottom edge.

* Photo tells a story - great journalistic quality.

Awesome capture! Bravo:)

Oh boy I enjoy these sort of photos you post sg!....they are so very different to what I typically see on a daily basis.

You have framed this perfectly....from the three women coming up the stone wall down to and through the terraced landscape.

Your focus is spot on....beautiful crisp, clear ...allows for amazing detail.

Color is well balanced...and the pop of orange in the second woman's shirt balances all that green.

Very very nice photo SG.

A lovely detailed landscape shot of a "landscaped" hillside, which, with the returning workers, tells a story!
The lead in through the image is very powerful, first following the line of workers and then through the wonderful curves of the rice fields
The image is very colourful,
dominated by the lush green vegetation.
The only minor thing I'd do to it, would be to clone out the partial red plant, at the bottom rh side, which is very distracting once seen
First class landscape image! Good luck with the L/S comp.
