I thought it was actually a painting for a minute. How beautiful this is. There is great texture and detail in this photograph and the lighting is wonderful. You have the broom placed in a perfect position against the neutral background. Amazing work.

To me this looks like a painting. The lighted background very much highlights the subject. Lovely soft colors no harsh tones. Focus is sharp. Well composed subject is clear.
This deserves more stars but I do not have them at the moment.

Looks like you are totally caught up with old brooms these days. LOL I do however think the broom is a great object to photograph, and you are doing it so well. What I like especially is that you also seem to pay good attention to what kind of background you use for your broom shots. This one works really well with the neutral colors and all the fine textures. I also like a lot how well you have used the light, and how nicely it is falling on the broom.
Your photo is also very sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the broom. I also think the exposure is perfect.
All the Topaz filters you have used has worked wonders for this photo. I also think the broom has got a fine placement within the frame, and the cropping is perfect. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Thanks Annie. I am just having a bit of fun with the Topaz filters and the broom is a nice neutral subject. Lets face it the heavy filters don't work with everything.

Even though the picture depicts a modern broom it reminds me of the rough hewn & scraggly Ceremonial ones that some of my associates have! ( The type that their ancestors were rumored to fly to the Ezbats & the Sabbats on! : ) )
