This is gorgeous. I like the black background that highlights the flower. I like the lighting of the petals. The petals almost look sparkly. Great composition. I like that you used the entire frame for the picture.

I have never seen this flower before, but it is really stunning. I especially like the touch of orange in contrast to white and pink in the petals, and I also like how well you have brought of the textures. With the dark background the flower is standing out in the most excellent way.
Your photo is also pin sharp showing really clear and well defined details in the delicate petals, and the exposure is just perfect.
The tight cropping works really well, and the flower has got a perfect placement within the frame. A truly beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

I had just finished telling someone av that COSMOS are really a tough but very simple flower.....usually. I swear this one saw me out there w/ my camera and flashlight and perked up demanding to be noticed....which I most definitely did. I am more than flattered by your wonderful review and super rating.
