How you can keep doing it, I'll never know! You're able to capture the anguish and the devotion in side by side faces.
Excellent, as always.
I've shown your powerful picture of the crucifixion to several guests in our home. They all pause to look instead of glancing and moving on.
Thank you for your precious gift and devotion to the Lord.

All I have to say is HUA!!!! I salute you to the fullest. This drawing is spectacular. This individual fighting for his country brave yet scared sh _ _ less (pardon my French, German, and American)...not knowing if he will make it through another night; his next meal is coming from; will he ever see his family again? This is what I see in your drawing....actually I see much more. This rendition of the agonies and pains yet high devotion and honor for his homeland is every positive adjective in the American Language. That is how well done you have done.; It should be shown to the vets; be displayed in a gallery. Duplicates made and many purchased by those who truly see the meaning and you could become rich....but I could not see myself get rich from this drawing. I would turn and any monies I made, I would give back to the vets in someway....donate every single dollar, cent that I would make and donate back to a good cause that has to do the American Veteran.
Gosh this is awesome. I love it. I would proudly hang it on my wall in my home in honor of all....even then non American vets...like my Opa, German...God rest his soul and my Oma, German...who also was a soldier, rare at those times...WWII and a woman...WACs and nurses.....but my OMA was none of those...she held a job that I am too ashamed to say out loud and she will never forget....God forgave her and so do I.....
Thank you for sharing. I wish I could give you more than six stars. I would give you a star for each vet that passed; each vet that fought; each that did not fight for one reason or another; each draftee each enlistee; each and every military person.....and that is a lot of stars and that is what I would give you. Your painting is awesome and I just cannot say enough about it....I better stop....I do not want to but I must. EXCELLENT. I want one? Are you selling it? May I purchase it from you? I am serious....very serious.

You can draw really good! I would have given you six stars if I still had them, but alas, they are gone. Love the lines here, and the white raindrops or snowflakes. Love the detail--looks so real! Good luck in the contest!

It is only one person here on FAR who can draw like this, and the drawing has a very strong expression and also a strong visual impact. I especially like the contrasts in this drawing. Like the contrast between sepia and BW, and that roughness of the soldier in the background and the softness of the soldier at the front kissing his cross while praying.
As always the drawing is done paying such good attention to details. It is also good distinctions between light and ark and lovely shadings.
I also like the close and personal approach with the right framing, and it is a very good balance in the composition. Just excellent through and through. I wish you luck with the contest.

It's really hard to put into words how awesome this is. Just from an art perspective it's so life like. Amazing detail, shading and a great play of light and shadow. The color just drives home the emotional message far deeper than 1 person can handle. Including faith in this just takes it to a whole other level. Thank you so much for sharing as this represents so well what it is truly like defending freedom. I've seen, heard and felt all these emotions and my faith is all that I have to lean on most days. God bless.

Powerful art work. I like the black and white colors really showing what the soldier is feeling. It catches the true feelings by seeing the soldier with his nightmare. Magnificent art work. Huge fan.

Although I know you did this, I want to tell you how well you have captured the essence of the extremes of emotions over there. There are so many emotions that one feels that have never been experienced to the degree that they are in those times of stress and DEEP FEAR. Yet, we Still Do Our Duty and Cover the person next to us that is feeling and doing the same thing. Thank you so very much ~ Steve

Resplendent drawing of our soldiers. They have the fragility and fear drawn all over their faces. What a drawing, perfection all over. Shadowed and centered perfectly. Great and awesome eye viewer.
Thanks for showing. Congratulations and Good Luck.
