I do not know the child either. It was one of the children running around the art expedition. I am member of the Botanical Garden Society. Volunteering as their photographer, I had permission to take photos.

Well done! This is really an adorable photo. Your framing and lighting are good. The photo seems to be a little fuzzy in a way, but I am thinking that might have been done on purpose. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing :)

I notet the fuzziness myself and actualy have no explanation. I blow the original photo up 200% and noted black and white glistering spots allover her face and skin and some on her dress. parts of her dress seemed wet. I assume that she played at the fountain before, and those spots are water and dirt. I think the reflection of ligth in those spots might have caused the fuzz.
I could not get red of those spots without loosing her expression, so I decided to post the photo just as it is, because the contest ask for a story telling photo.
