a wonderful close up of this strange very long bell shapped flower; nice bright red color with amazing sharp details; would be interesting to have the name;

Thanks Fred, I did some research and found it is called Correa sometimes known as native fuchsia. :) Mary

nice capture of those strange flowers, but the flower on the background is not focus, neither blur enough and this is a big distraction
thanks for sharing

Magnificent photo of these flowers. Colors are bright and clear. Wonderful background for these flowers. One can see the inside of it hanging out they resemble "bleeding hearts" maybe related!
Shadowed, centered detailed properly! Magnificent photo and eye viewer.
Thanks for showing.
Congratulations and Good Luck!
Have yourself a great week-end!

What an interesting flower. Great color and focus. I like that you use shallow depth of field. Great framing. Lots of texture. Great job.

This is a great shot. I love the rich color and the very shallow DOF. It gives real texture in the foreground and then the soft repetition that follows. Thanks for sharing.

A very nice flower with great color. I think this shot would have been improved by more accurate camera placement or even by stopping down a couple stops so that the bottom of the bell and the dangling stamens would have been sharper.

Comment from Life is but a dream.
Nice post, well composed with the bokeh consisdered to include the "little brother" in the background. The flower is sharp, well contrasted showing the environs in which "he" dwells. (I don't know why I'm calling a flower a he but there you go).

Subtle illumination.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Diffused focusing.
Why? The whole image seems so blurry?
Nice vertical framing.
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks Dick, do you mean I am totally not focused as it appears to be focused on main flower to me and other reviewers. Appreciate your feedback. :) Mary

It is soft in the thumbnail Mary, and in the large scale...
