I have always known this plant as a Christmas cactus. In North America they bloom mostly from Thanksgiving to Christmas. The colors are beautiful and the form of the flower is elegant. I might like a little better definition in the stamens.

A beautiful picture of the Zygocactus in bloom it's flowers reminding me f Fuchsia in the way the outer petal curl up & the stamens protrude from inside. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.
